Following an extraordinary meeting today of the Board of Federlegno Arredo Eventi, and in view of the ongoing public health emergency, the decision has been taken to postpone the upcoming edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milan to 16th – 21st June.
Xylexpo 2020 will be postponed. This is the painful but necessary decision taken last Friday, March 6, by the Managing Board of Acimall, the association of Italian woodworking machinery and tools manufacturers, owner of the biennial exhibition.
This edition of SICAM consolidated the event held last October in Pordenone. The trade fair’s most significant numbers were confirmed, with 604 exhibitors attending the event again this year. 27% came from abroad, ranging over 32 different countries.
The 2020 edition of MEM Industrial, Latin America’s leading trade show for wood processing, woodworking, furniture manufacturing and forestry, reported over 7,000 visitors from Mexico and abroad, and generated more than 400 million pesos (approx. 19 million euros) in on-site business.
